During a trip to Spain, the site operator looked around the whisky section of the departures duty free shop at Barcelona Airport on the afternoon of Sunday 27 September 2026, before flying out. This article collects the photos and shelf prices from that visit.
Prices are the euro (€) amounts shown on the shelf labels that day. Promotions and prices change often, and the amount in your own currency depends on the exchange rate when you pay. Where a label was too small or blurry to match to a product with confidence, it was left out. Many duty free whiskies come in 1L bottles, so check the size before you buy.
At a glance
- Malt whisky section: brand bays line up under a "WHISKY DE MALTA" sign, covering most of the major Islay, Highland and Speyside distilleries.
- Travel exclusives: many labels carry an "Exclusivo para Viajes" (travellers only) tag, including Bowmore 19, 16, 14 and 11, Highland Park 11, 14 and 16 and the Glenlivet Cask Master's Collection.
- Promotions: red "Solo/Only" labels show a discounted price. Purple ClubAvolta labels show a members' price that requires signing up.

Buying tips
- The 1L and 70cl versions of the same whisky can be priced very differently. For bottles that are hard to find in Korea, look for the "Exclusivo para Viajes" tag.
- ClubAvolta members' prices (purple labels) need a membership. The regular discounted prices (red labels) apply to everyone.
- Korea's duty free allowance for alcohol on arrival has limits on the number of bottles, volume and value, so check the Korea Customs Service guidance before buying several bottles.
- The official details of the Macallan Harmony Collection coconut releases are in our Macallan Harmony Collection coconut news (in Korean).
