This is a record of a bottle the site operator bought and tasted personally. Aroma and flavour notes reflect one person's senses and preferences, and the same whisky can taste different depending on the batch, how long the bottle has been open, the glass and the setting. The score is the operator's own on a 100-point scale.
The basics

Nose
Bright flowers, chocolate, honey, fruit, sweets, a brief prickle of alcohol
Palate
Dried fruit, lychee, honey, sugar, spice, lemon zest
Finish
Sweet sherry carried by the high strength, lasting a medium length
Impressions
A high-strength, no-age-statement sherry bomb. It gives you, very directly, the sweet and spicy character of a whisky fully matured in sherry casks. Compared with the Arran Sherry Cask or Glenfarclas 105, I would rate this Batch 084 A'bunadh higher.
Score
87 / 100
